Be sure with Drake’s 3 oz. SureColor paint samplers. For just $3.99 you can purchase our 3 oz. Benjamin Moore SureColor Sampler and try your color choice at home. And if you are a fan of Dunn-Edwards, you can purchase an 8 oz. Dunn-Edwards SureColor Sampler for $5.99. Color often appears darker when painted in a smaller area and lighter when covering a larger area. We recommend painting at least two swatches measuring 3' x 3' on two different walls; one that reflects light from a window and one that doesn’t. This is a good test to see if you will like the color during the day and at night.
We strongly suggest taking the time to do a sampler application before finalizing your color decision and prior to asking us to custom mix your gallon order. And because Benjamin Moore and Dunn-Edwards paints last years before it’s time to repaint, you’ll want to be sure you select a color you can live with for awhile.
