ShakeMee tries to take social networking from online to offline business/busy locations by enabling you to connect with people near your current location. By simply choosing a gender to meetup and shaking your phone, you get a match and you get taken to a game screen (GuessHoo?) where you have 5 minutes to guess the name of the person you just got matched with. On guessing the name correctly, you earn points towards the leaderboard (Lead Status) appearance in the app. Immediately the game time elapses, one location is chosen for both parties to go meet up and just get to know each other. For safety purposes, the chosen location is usually in very busy public places or business locations and within approximately 5 to 10 mins walking distance from your current location.
After the meetup, you get the chance to rate the person based on your experience with them and a first impression basis.Likewise them. You can also decide to keep talking to them by either putting them in your Home-run or friends-zone. You also choose to delete them if you never want to cross paths with them by using the HeyHiBye button on the rating screen.
