ELD COMPLIANCE
The Motive Driver App makes recording Hours of Service (HOS) on your Android phone or tablet fast and easy.
It complies with the FMCSA regulations, including Part 395. When used with the Motive Vehicle Gateway device, the app helps fleets and individual commercial drivers meet their obligations outlined under the ELD mandate.
Supports current Canadian Federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
Connect the Motive Driver App to the Motive Vehicle Gateway via Bluetooth to stay compliant through an electronic logging device (ELD).
Proactively alerts you when you’re running out of driving time to avoid Hours of Service (HOS) violations.
Displays total hours worked for the week and your available Hours of Service for any given day and the following day.
Can be switched to Inspection Mode to show ELD logs to an officer during a roadside inspection without compromising the driver’s privacy.
TRACKING & TELEMATICS
When dispatched, GPS location data is shared to the Motive Fleet Dashboard to update dispatchers and fleet managers on stops and arrivals.

  If your a O/O or small company, this application is what you should be using. Ive been using this application for 6 years and yeah, like all these ELD's, they all have some sort of issue/issues, but the only problem I have really ever had is sometimes getting thru to a live rep can tske some time, but they have a 100 percent solved all issues. Highly recommend this ELD application.

  Eversince you added the split sleeper clock to the app, KT keeps freezing up on me. Have to constantly kill the app or restart the phone. Samsung Note 20 Ultra.

  The "Messages " section needs options, similar to your smart phone. There needs to be an option to discard a particular message, or to save a particular message. It would also be helpful if you could put your saved Messages in a particular "created " folder for future reference. As of right now, none of these options exist. Whatever Messages you receive, stay there forever!,... like it or not. ( Imagine if your smart phone was like that. It would probably drive you nuts, wouldn't it ?)

  Edit: Up to 5 stars. Right after experiencing issues with the app i got a call from KT support. This was something different. Most of the time you, the customer, are the one calling looking for support, and very often you will not find it. Had my issues resolved by talking to a professional KT team member. The new regulations implementation has not been without a hickup, but the updates keep coming and i can't commend the KT team enough trying to make it right for all of us drivers. Thank you!

  This is by far the easiest way to do your logs on both sides. I would refer to anyone.p UPDATE!!!! This is hard to believe that you are charging all of us and tecnically the system is a useless illegal log. I took down my 5 star and would rate a 0 if i could
