Description of Messaging Classic

Message Classic (alternate name as Messaging Classic) is the stock messaging (SMS & MMS) app ported from the Android native system!
Most of the phone manufacturers, for example, Samsung, LG, Sony and HTC, build their own messaging apps with different user experience, Message Classic brings you the native taste with Google design.
In Nexus 5, Google Hangouts is the default messaging app, while the original messaging app is gone. Message Classic gives you a chance to bring it back.
Remember to disable your other third party SMS apps' notifications or you may get duplicated notifications for each message.

  Lately my phone sound for notifications hasn't been working correctly. I have to into the app and look at messages for new ones, and then I get a audio notification. Any help?

  Does anyone know if this app has stopped working for them? I am trying to open it and tap on my messages, but it's freezing and it keeps saying the app has crashed! I uninstalled and redownloaded the app more than 12 times, I kept force stopping it, I even tried to use the older versions none of which made it stop from freezing or closing on its own. I have had this problem for a couple of months now so if anyone knows what happened to this app or has the same issue and tried contacting the developers, Iet me know please!

  I'm quite happy with it. A good one, indeed. Let me add that I had to reboot my mobile and forgot this app name. I tried some but all proved to be a junk, to say the least. Fooling around at play store I was blessed to find it again. Now I can receive my SMSs in peace.
