  The volume control in the app simple sets the media volume to the desired level on the device itself. It should change the volume to the desired level to announce the time then return it to the previous level after the time is announced. It would be nice to be able to custom pick what is said to announce the time. I like that each hour can be picked individually to be announced but I would like to see the option to choose every half hour.
