2019 Virgin Money London Marathon App
This is the official app for the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon. The app provides event week and Race Day information, as well as letting you find and track participants during the race, locate points of interest on the route, and keep up with split times, leaderboard positions and results as the action unfolds.
This year’s app contains tailored advice for both runners and spectators, to ensure you’re prepared for the big day whether participating, lining the course or following the action at home, to give you the best possible marathon experience.
Runner & Spectator Information
NEW FOR 2019: Find all the information you need to plan Race Week in the dedicated Runner Info and Spectator Guide areas of the app.
Running Show
NEW FOR 2019: The app will help you plan your visit to the Virgin Money London Marathon Running Show! Find directions, opening times, exhibitors and an interactive floorplan to make your visit go smoothly.
Tracking
Find your favourite runners (friends, family, celebrities and elites) and follow their progress during the race. You can see updates at every 5km split and track their pace. The app will also predict what time your runner will reach the next 5km checkpoint based on their average pace, allowing you to get to the best viewing points in time to support them.
Map
NEW FOR 2019: See a detailed layout of the Start Area, Finish Area and several new Points of Interest around the 26.2mile course on the interactive map.
Push Notifications
App users can choose to receive a notification when any of their tracked runners cross the Start Line, halfway point and Finish Line.
Ones To Watch
NEW FOR 2019: Check out the impressive elite field and a host of celebrity runners ahead of Race Week so you know the famous faces to look out for on the course. The live Leaderboard will keep you updated on who’s leading the way on Race Day.
