NOTE:
Some service providers (for example, Verizon) BLOCK YOUR HOTSPOT because they want to charge you extra to use it. If this app doesn't work for you, that might be the reason. At the moment, I do not have the time to update this app to help users work around their service providers; if you need an app to do this, you may find some elsewhere in the Play store.
Features:
* A single tap of the homescreen widget to enable or disable your wifi hotspot state.
* Automatically detects and restores prior wifi state when disabling hotspot.
* Works on Android 3.0 devices (Honeycomb and later).
* Suitable for hi-res displays.
If your wifi hotspot is enabled when you place the widget on your home screen, it may take a few seconds for the widget to recognize this and display correctly. Don't worry, it works!
Explanation of permissions:
** ACCESS_WIFI_STATE **
Checks whether wifi state is enabled or disabled prior to turning it off or on.
** CHANGE_WIFI_STATE **
Necessary to allow app to change wifi state.
** BILLING **
This app is free. After using it for a period of time, it will ask if you want to donate to support its development. If you choose not to, you may choose to never be asked again.
