Produced by Edit II,the sitcom promises rib-tickling comedy while bringing forth human tendencies.Anita, an ex-beauty queen married to Vibhuti, and Angoori, a simple Indian woman married to Manmohan, are neighbours. The distinctly different housewives enjoy the attention of each other's husbands.Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai is a comedy television series which airs Monday through Friday nights at 10:30 p.m.The show is inspired by the 1995 Hindi serial Shrimaan Shrimati.
Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai show is set in Kanpur and revolves around two neighbouring couples. Manmohan Tiwari is a successful undergarment businessman, whose wife Angoori is a simple and naive housewife. Their neighbour, Vibhuti Narayan Mishra, is an unsuccessful and unemployed insurance policy agent, often called "Nalle ji" (unemployed), who spends his time doing household chores. His wife Anita is a headstrong, smart and modern lady who has also been crowned as a beauty queen. She is the breadwinner of the family, and her husband's unemployment and laziness irritate her. As the men devise schemes to impress each other's wives, they pull each other down and create problematic situations.
