Directorate of School Education Jammu's online Education app has been developed with a motive to provide all-in-one online Education platform to the students of Jammu Division. This app is having links to visit and view e-content available under different MHRD e-education & e-learning initiatives like DIKSHA, e-Pathshaala, Sawayam, e-Vidyadaan & Sawayam Prabha etc along with provision for locally created e-content and online assessment, activities and live Classes.
The main objective of this digital initiative initiated by the Directorate of School Education, Jammu is to provide easy access to various online learning content developed for the school going children of the different classes, by the well trained subject expert Teachers of the Jammu Division.
This app has many sections like:
1. Online Classes- wherein users can search and watch recorded videos on particular topic.
2. Home Assignments- Students can access Home assignments on different subjects being managed through weekly program under DSEJ's Home Classes.
3. Online Assessment- wherein app provides to online and offline assessments
4. Online Activities for
different classes/subjects.
5. Live Classes-This app also has feature to join online live classes being conducted through Google meet.
6. Digital Library-Digital library to access books of JK-BOSE and other digital learning content pertaining to different classes on different subjects.
Besides above, this app also has links to access various e-learning initiatives being initiated by MHRD time to time. Users can also access to official website of JK School Education Department, Directorate of School Education, CPIS & MDM etc.
