DISH Anywhere requires an online DISH account and a Hopper 2 or Hopper 3 receiver model for slinging Live TV and DVR.
(DISH Anywhere users that do not own one of the above supported receivers but do have an online DISH account can still use the On Demand and Live Stream features of the app).
This app features Nielsen’s proprietary measurement software, which will allow you to contribute to market research, like Nielsen’s TV Ratings. Please see www.nielsen.com/digitalprivacy for more information.
*Transfer functionality requires high-speed internet connection to a Hopper 2 or Hopper 3 DVR. Your mobile device must be connected to the same home network as the Hopper2 or Hopper 3 to transfer a recording and you must maintain an active DISH account to view transferred recordings. Select recordings are not available to transfer due to programming restrictions. Sling Adapter functionality is not supported.

  I don't know what you all did to this app, but it sucks. You need to fix this. Takes forever to fast forward and it is constantly loading, it takes me almost 45 minutes to watch a half hour show. Please fix it ASAP

  Well they took a working app and updated it so that it doesn't work. It crashes, the 10 and 30 second ff and reverse don't work. Great job again dish for ruining something that worked fine. Now it's the dish nowhere app.

  This app use to be awesome, you could change the channel or hit recall, then someone thought it would be cool to update something that worked great, now you have to exit what your watching, go back to the guide, and select another channel, very annoying 🙄

  Serious lagging...that's if Dish let's you in on your account. Usually 1 week a month it asks for the dish login. Once you try it...it still won't let you in. And when it does let you in, the serious lagging 5x per minute sucks big time. I will definitely be going back to Att direct once this contract is up.

  New update, it's even worse!! I now have to watch commercials when accessing my dvr recordings. Ludicrous!! Update ruined it. Skip does nothing but causes a black screen and lots of loading!!! You failed dish!

  App was working fine. Then did the last update and now it is just screen. Since you're playing with your services...this helps with pulling the plug. On Thursday night, therefore I won't be able to watch football while on lunch tonight, working. My mother's home & mine will soon no longer have Dish. I am just beyond done with services that have not one problem with payments but their services...may or not function.
