Description of SMS Backup

This app is will backup text messages from selected contacts.
To select which contacts to backup simply open whichever app you manage your contacts with and add the contacts to the "Message Backup" group - that's it, conversations with these contacts will automatically be saved in private, internal storage the next time a backup is performed.
You can adjust the backup frequency in the app settings and SMS Backup will handle the rest - automatically retrieving and storing securely and privately! If you would like to be notified whenever a backup is being performed, you can turn on notifications in the app settings also.
Conversations are saved by default to storage space managed by the Android operating system that only SMS Backup has access to. To export these conversations to an SDCard, simply open SMSBackup and touch the export icon. A dialog will appear asking you where you would like to save the file; you can quickly and easily save to Dropbox, Google Drive, your SDCard, etc! The saved file will be an SQL database with PDF support coming soon.
At the moment SMS Backup doesn't:
- backup MMS messages
- restore messages
