The free app "Gropius to Go" was developed as a digital Gropius-city guide in cooperation with visitBerlin and friendly support of the Bauhaus Archive / Museum of Design from the Berlin Monument Authority.

In Berlin alone, there are more than a dozen works and artworks by Walter Gropius (1883-1969). They originated in the years of the Weimar Republic and after the Second World War. Nowhere left the world-renowned architect a broader spectrum of his work as in his hometown. Gropius' designs were influenced by Expressionism, New Objectivity, and classic modern Nachkriegsfunktionalismus.
