This application helps you memorize:
- Japanese syllabary :Katakana & Hiragana, with flash card, keyboard, or drawing recognition
- Numbers, in romaji, Hiragana, or kanji
- 2300 japanese kanji's (level 1-5 JLPT or Jouyou 1-7) with stroke animation (source KanjiVG), translation, readings (Source KanjiDict) with flash card and drawing game.
- 14600 japanese words (in english) from EDICT with flash card test
- Experimental gramatical particle test (around 100 sentences from project Tatoeba) central to japanese language.
- Tae Kim Japanese Grammar guide.
- new locales (German, Spanish, Russian, Portugues, Thai, Polish, Chinese, Swedish and French), if you can help me adding new locales please contact me.
SD write authorisation for write Database to SD card
Analytic (Flurry.com) and Ads can be disabled in the settings.

I really like this app. It's how I first learned kana. However, I would love for there to be a katakana to hiragana quiz. I prefer to avoid romaji entirely but I don't have katakana down nearly as well as I do hiragana, as some katakana are quite rare. So at this stage in my learning, a quiz like that would be very helpful.

The only app I found that provides everything and it even has kanji and word meanings. Highly recommended for Japanese learners

Best and easiest way to learn Japanese honestly. This was how I learned and memorized Hiragana and Katakana. Just doing the test a hundred times again and again, wanting to get a perfect 50. Until I can get a score of 50 every single time I play. Now I'm just used to reading the characters with no effort. Repetitive tests are really the way to drill it into your mind. The design is minimalistic and simple, it helps you focus. Love this and thanks so much for making this.

It's a really good app I just have one request can y'all make it so that we can customise the kanji tests by only choosing the kanjis that we want to learn and not making the hassle of individually deselecting kanjis that we don't want

Overall an excellent app. A suggestion for improvement: on vocabulary quizzes, offer option to study one particular part of speech. As it is, I can often guess the vocabulary correctly based solely on part of speech, and occasionally also my limited knowledge of Kanji and readings. This is fine for first exposures, but I also need to learn the word on its own, and manually switching up the vocabulary selection is quite time-consuming.
