The idea for Potomac Petals and Plants took root in the Spring of 2015.
Its founder, local businesswoman and entrepreneur, Kavelle Bajaj, sought to fill the need for a garden center in Potomac, Md.
Well travelled and possessing a lust for and knowledge of beautiful and exotic environments, it was her dream to bring those products and ideas to Potomac's neighboring communities.
Kavelle sought to enable her customers to achieve that same ambiance and individual expression in their gardens and home décor that she had been so passionate about all her life.
She believes that nature and gardens have the potential to be spiritually invigorating spaces...whether quiet and Zen-like, playful or relaxing, romantic and beautiful or practical and productive.
