Les cours de chimie au collège visent à éveiller l’esprit scientifique, au travers notamment de l’expérimentation et de l’observation. Les élèves découvrent les principes du raisonnement scientifique et aiguisent leur esprit critique, leur sens de l’observation, leur curiosité pour le progrès scientifique et technique.
En troisième, le programme de chimie a pour objectifs de comprendre d’une part le principe de conductivité dans les matériaux ainsi que dans les solutions aqueuses, et d’autre part, d’approfondir la question de la structure de la matière ainsi que sa transformation.
