Crossword puzzle*
A crossword puzzle is a puzzle in a letter by columns and rows in boxes divided (usually rectangular) area. The Searched Words are vertically and horizontally entered into adjacent box, and in a way that any registered and resulting groups of letters make sense (according to the task).
Story*
The first crossword puzzle in the world appeared on 21 December 1913 in the Christmas supplement of the newspaper New York World and contained 31 keywords. who invented it is a native of Liverpool journalist Arthur Wynne. Basis to have been the magic squares, a game his grandfather named. The crossword Wynne contained no black boxes and had diamond-shaped. [1] [2]

In the early 1920s there were the first crossword in European newspapers and magazines. The first crossword puzzle in a German newspaper printed the Berliner Illustrierte 1925. Charles Cilard introduced in 1985, after four years of preparation, the largest ever crossword in the world before. It was 870 m long, 30 cm wide and had 2.610.000 boxes. A dissolved crossword led in 1981 to the world's largest font samples compared to investigate the so-called crossword murder, one of the most famous crimes of the GDR.
