Installed new app on Samsung Galaxy S3 Tablet and each time I start the Boating App, it asks me to login to my account. So, now I can't use this App to Navigate off-shore without first connecting to the Internet? Does anyone at Garmin actually sail out of cellular range? Used to work flawlessly before on same device for years. Something about this new version. After 15 minutes, the app now starts without prompting me to login. Updated . Support contacted me and the problem was fixed.

I purchased US and Canada. Unhappy that the app has been replaced with a premium version that requires annual subscription fees.

It WAS a good little affordable app. Not anymore. They tried to add a lot of frills that are very poorly executed for a phone app, apparently only to justify an exhorbitant price increase. If you are considering this app, all you need to look at is how fast the overall rating has plummeted to only three stars. Pitiful. If you need the so-called "premium features" the developers are trying to push on this app, then hopefully you have the proper equipment and aren't relying on a phone! Avoid.

Scam. Promised a lifetime subscription, now it's a year by year thing. What a joke.

Why is adding a waypoint or shared annotation at a specific location STILL so convoluted? Why am I not able to tap the screen in a rough location and immediately edit the lon and lat? For over a decade adding points on the chart continues to be a headache. It's now 2024, yet creating/editing markers continues to be Navionics' Achilles Heal. This cumbersome interface hasn't changed in years and is far from intuitive. Please take a look at other mapping apps to see how easy this should be.

Life time Subscription I bought the lifetime subscription for $9.99 years ago and now it is telling me that my sub has expired it is a lifetime sub it does not expire so please give me back my subscription rights. Also if I am going to end up being stuck paying a yearly subscription fee then I will go to One Boat Network where there sub is $25 a year and not $50. $50 is way way to much for this app plus I already had lifetime sub which apparently getting ripped off there also. RIP Garmin. Zero *
