Description of Bonfyre

Bonfyre is an employee experience platform built to help place company culture in the hands of those most capable of shaping it—your employees.
Companies can create private, social communities for their departments, campuses, project teams, employee groups, internal events, or even for the entire company. These employee-driven digital communities foster conversation throughout your organization, making it easier for employees to connect with each other, leadership, and managers, ultimately creating more connected teams.
Bonfyre is free to download and use, with upgradeable plans for enterprise audiences. Upgrading provides access to dozens of customizable features that support: improved internal communications, gathering feedback through surveys, amplifying employee recognition, facilitating internal events, and accessing analytics to measure the impact of these efforts.

There are a lot of group chat and collaboration apps out there. This one cannot compare to the big dogs at all. Notifications, which are one of the most important elements of a communication app, are poorly designed and do not deliver all the time. I was forced to use this for a college class of mine because the professor is friends with the developer, and I couldn't wait to uninstall it once that class was over, because the only way I knew something was happening the chat was if he emailed us.

Notifications don't come through all the time. Feed is reversed from the norm- newest posts are at the bottom so you have to scroll through previously view posts to view the new ones. Good to keep up with coworkers and the company though.
