**You must own a Synology NAS to run this app, and be running the latest Audio Station 6.0.0 package to get the complete set of features**
DS audio allows you to stream music stored on your DiskStation with your Android device wherever an Internet connection is available. Better yet, with the offline mode you can listen to songs stored in the device’s local memory for when no network connection is available. You can browse music by albums, artists, folders or genres, create your own playlists or share them with your friends, and even rate your music! And if you have dedicated stereo speakers at home, DS audio can also become a remote control to stream music to them.

Bug Fixed:
1. Fixed an issue that prevented playback of ALAC audio files.
2. Fixed an issue where the deletion of offline music files might affect the app's performance.
3. Minor bug fixes.

  Generally the app is functional. Chromecast and phone audio works. But there are some bugs (I reported 2 to support today). Also the User Interface is very non-standard and old looking on Android. The UI of the app needs to be migrated to use Material Design and use modern UI elements that can be found in the Android UI Support Libraries. I'm trying to use this more now that Google Play Music is dead, but I'd really like to see more activity and updates to this app. Also please add Google Home / Assistant support to the app.

  Not as bad as some may say. Needed to replace Google Play music and thus has done a good job. It has a few negatives, you can't change where you are playing music back without adding all the tracks again, and the search function is hidden in a menu rather being a bit more obvious. But definitely better than YouTube music

  Add the ability to browse folders on android auto, not only the default playlists... Or customized playlists not the fixed 6 ones

  Can't connect to bluetooth speakers and the app doesn't link to the existing music library in android, it wants to download music to its own special place so it can use twice as much storage on your phone. This app is a useless POS, what were the developers thinking, THEY WEREN'T!

  Poorly designed and hard to use. Impossible to how to download songs for offline. Pinning doesn't seem to do it.
