PROJECTS
KHUSHBU
The Khushbu Project equips families through education and skills training to be positive change agents in their community.
We do this by nurturing and enabling an environment for women and youth to learn basic literacy, vocational skills, creativity through the arts and craft, leadership development and how to address issues of social justice.
OPEN SCHOOL
Open School is an initiative for those who want to complete their education but unable to do so due to finance, responsibilities, and other factors. Open School helps people of different ages achieve their education and develop their skill. We provide tuition classes from Monday to Friday evening 5:30pm to 7:30pm, and help in registration with the NIOS curriculum. This Open School is designed in such a way that people from all backgrounds and age groups can join.
KHUSHBU GARHI
This project is aimed for those in the slum to have access to further education. The mix of educational and vocational work not only increases the sense of value and self-worth for the people but opens up further opportunities for them to make a difference in their communities.
Apart from this people who have small kids who can’t go to school because of their financial situation, we teach English and Hindi language for them.
We have other students as well coming from Garhi area for our literacy programme. People volunteer from surrounding areas to teach the children.
