As many others have said, the last update transformed Yahoo Mail from a 5 star app to a 2, at best. Very slow response time opening mail or when switching from one folder to another. At times, I have to completely close out the app just to get an email or folder to even open. The only reason it even gets 2 stars, at this point, is for ease of use.

I used to have Yahoo connected to my phone through my Gmail account, but when I changed passwords, it wouldn't authenticate anymore. So, I downloaded the separate Yahoo app. I can't seem to find a way to get my notifications for Yahoo to vibrate only. All my other emails are set to vibrate only, but with Yahoo all I have is notifications with sound or no notifications at all. Kind of irritating.

Definitely do not like the fact that the new yahoo app does not clearly display the date and time when the email was received, as the old email app did. This feature is something I use all the time and is very important to me. Not having this important feature is quite a downgrade from our previous email; I am very disappointed.

This application is not as good as the one that is on my phone by default. One of the awful things about this app is that you can not set a specific time for auto-checking the account. For example I received an email one hour ago and just now the application shows it to me and give me a notification. Therefore, I see my new emails late! I hope the developer of this app read my feedback!

Perfect until the New Update! I've used yahoomail for more years than I'd like to say without revealing my true age haha. I never encountered any issues at all and always recommend the app but with its recent update the app has lagged in basic usage. When I open an email I cannot ease by swiping nor by pressing the back button to go to the next email or go back to the list of emails. Now I ALWAYS have to close down the app and start over again one by one. As you can assume not convenient at all.

Horrible joke of security and corporate concern. Security is a joke to them. Their dashboard forces you to Verizon which apparently oversees Yahoo and gazillion others. I've had my Yahoo email account since 2001, yes, 19 years, so I keep it for nostalgic reasons and not my daily current address. But I am sick and tired of the evil Yahoo scum allowing creepy trolls and scanners to violate my security and privacy repeatedly. They do NOTHING to fix it.
