e - W Cast App: A complete social weather forecasting app
e - WCast is an application intended to provide updates on weather conditions across the globe. The application is exclusively designed to be as simple and intuitive as possible. With just one tap on Smartphone screen, the complete weather information about the current/any selected location can be directly obtained on your phone screen.
The climate state is beautifully animated to make it more user-friendly and give a real-time experience to the user. By entering the 'start' and 'destination' location and the by clicking on 'Navigate' button the weather condition of the locations covered by the route can be obtained instantly before reaching the destination point. User will get automatic notifications when starting at a location and also after reaching the destination.
e - WCast App has a toggle switch to change temperature measurement units from Celsius to Fahrenheit and vice versa. In addition, it provides real-time information on relative humidity, precipitation, wind speed, ultraviolet index (UV index), sunrise and sunset, astronomy and so on. The weather condition is displayed on Google Map in an interactive and easy to understand manner- with blue, green & red colors. The more red color the hotter is the temperature of the location. The weather report of next 48 hours of weather condition and next 7 days complete weather prediction is also available with this application.
The app includes custom themes (Light, Dark, and Automatic) and cool widgets. 'Grid' option of Weather application helps checking the temperature and climatic conditions of multiple locations at one place. Using this feature the weather details of multiple (user-defined) locations can be viewed in a grid format. By simply entering the location information along with its label name (e.g., hometown), this information is saved in the grid and the app displays the grid of locations with respective weather information. Also, the weather information can be shared with friends via social media or other apps installed on the phone.
