Shortcut Preview: after selecting the activity app will show you a preview of shortcut before creating. Here you can also rename the shortcut name. You can also add shortcut to favourite.

  Great work-around! You can tell customizing icons isn't intended by the OS, but these guys figured out a great way to do it anyway. It works, it's easy, and my phone's now styled the way I like it.

  I love this as you can still do the Nougat Easter egg. This is how you can play the Nougat one (cat collection game). I am in Android Pie. 1. Load up shortcut maker 2. Go to activities 3. Scroll down to "Android Easter Egg" and press on it. 4. Select Neko Activation 5. Press on the test button until you get the cat emoji 6. Swipe from the top of your screen to the bottom 7. Go to your "edit buttons" button 8. Bring ???? To your buttons 9. Press home button 10. Press on the new button.

  I would like to see this app become comparable with more devices and launchers. I does not work with Apex laucher classic which I like as it gives multiple docks. Apex Launcher can modify an app icon title itself which is useful. I have used it on other devices with different launchers.

  To add something to my other positive review: the only con is that you can't see the usual orange notification bubble next to an app to see whether you have a notification and how many. If this could be fixed, that would be nice.
