Westlife adalah sebuah boyband dari Irlandia yang beranggotakan Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, dan Mark Feehily. Pada acara MTV TRL, video klip "Swear it Again" pernah diminta beberapa kali, dan masuk pada chart "hot 100" di salah satu majalah di AS (Billboard Magazine) edisi musim panas di urutan ke-20. Album debut mereka gagal setelah dirilis pada 2000 dan itulah satu-satunya album mereka yang dirilis di sana. Westlife also won ITV's "Record of the Year" four times in a row with their singles "Flying Without Wings", "My Love", "Mandy", and "You Raise Me Up". In Indonesia their first album was awarded 20 times platinum for the sale of more than one million copies. Westlife holds the record for the best-selling foreign album in Indonesian music history and is also the only international artist who is able to sell an album over one million units in Indonesia. Westlife failed to penetrate the music industry in the United States, even though their debut single, "Swear it Again", was quite popular on US radio and MTV at the time. On the MTV TRL program, the video clip "Swear it Again" was asked several times, and entered on the "hot 100" chart in one of the magazines in the US (Billboard Magazine) summer edition at number 20. Their debut album failed after it was released in 2000 and that was their only album released there. This band is very famous in Asia, Europe, Australia, and several countries in the United States besides the US.
Like other boy bands, their albums are aimed at teenage girls, although there are also male fans. Several times Westlife has performed in several places in the gay community.
In October 2011 Westlife announced that they would disband after their tour was completed in June 2012.
