Description of Boardspace.net

This is the Android client to play board games with other people at Boardspace.net. Boardspace hosts over 100 games, mostly 2-player
abstract strategy games, but also some multi-player and Euro games
and word games.
All games are played in real time, not turn at a time. Games can
be suspended, but it is expected that you will play complete games in
one sitting, as you would when playing another person face-to-face.
Our most popular games are Hive and Euphoria.
Tablet sized screens are recommended. Devices with at least 1G of memory are recommended.
The client is fully cross-platform; using your Android, you can play other people who are using IOS, Macs, or PCs.
The site, and the app, are completely free, have no advertising or in-app purchases. Just the games.

  Still no good. I thought the update and bot inclusion would have made things better, sadly it's still horrible. Most games don't display bots because of "slow CPU"... Needs major overhaul. Obviously belongs to another age.

  Reposting this as it was somehow deleted: This app is unusable. I was hoping to play Euphoria. Unfortunately I have never gotten to place a single worker, because "dumbot" takes so long to pick recruits that I give up. It is slow enough that I wouldn't be surprised if it would take 3+ hours to play a game. Beyond that, the UX for looking at cards and selecting them is just plain awful. Not at all designed for a touch screen device. I received a response from the developer stating that a tablet will be too slow to play against a bot and I shouldn't have been able to play against one in the first place. If I want to play against a bot, I should use a desktop. They are going to make some adjustments to what devices will be allowed to play against bots. I would argue that this should indicate a serious flaw in the logic used by bots. The decisions made are very simple compared to many other games on mobile devices. I have never seen a computer opponent act so sluggishly. It explains why the applet used by the website is sometimes so slow that it actually will mess with my keyboard buffer on a high end laptop.
