ক্যাবল নির্বাচন এ্যাপটি ব্যবহারকারীর বৈদ্যুতিক ক্যাবল নির্বাচনে সহায়তার জন্য প্রস্তুত করা হয়েছে যাতে ব্যবহারকারী তার লোড ও ক্যাবল সম্পর্কে সঠিক ধারণা নিতে পারেন এবং নিম্ন বা উচ্চ রেটিং (বর্গ মি মি) এর ক্যাবল ব্যবহারে দুর্ঘটনার ঝুকি বা অধিক ব্যায় হতে নিরাপদ থাকবেন। এখানে রেফারেনস গ্রন্থ- IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition : (BS 7671: 2008) ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। হিসাবের ক্ষেত্রে ক্যাবলস এর সর্ব উচ্চ ভোল্টেজ ড্রপ মেইন ভোল্টেজের ৩% ও ক্যাবলস দেয়ালের মধ্য কন্ডুইট আবৃত ধরা হয়েছে। উল্লেখ্য রেটেড ভোল্টেজ হতে ১০% এর বেশি ক্যাবলস ভোল্টেজ ড্রপ হলে যন্ত্রের মটরটি পুরে যেতে পারে।
