Description
This application is developed by Dr. Shashank Purwar (MD,PhD) keeping in view of difficulties faced by medical practitioners in remembering and adhering to treatment guidelines prescribed by statutory bodies. It is also very difficult to remember the dosage per kg body weight for all antibiotics. Antibiotic resistance is major real threat and it is extremely important to avoid irrational antibiotic usage for which National Centre for Disease Control (Govt. of India) has issued National Treatment Guidelines for Antimicrobial Use in Infectious Diseases (2016).
This application is not an official application by any government agency but a personal effort to provide registered medical practitioners a tool to prescribe rational antibiotics in right dosages. We do not claim any propriety on the National Treatment Guidelines for Antimicrobial Use in Infectious Diseases document and urge users of this application to reconfirm the antibiotics and their dosage with standard textbooks / reference documents. The author of this application will not be responsible for any claim whatsoever.
