INDIA DIGITAL LOCKER APP (DIGITAL DOCUMENTS)

Digital Locker System (Digi Locker) is your personal online document storage facility provided by the Government of India. In Digital Locker you get up to 1 GB free personal storage space, where you can upload PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License, Educational Certificate etc. You can also e-sign all these documents, which is similar to the process of self-attestation.
Digi Locker System is a cloud digital locker service launched by the Government of India through which people can keep their required documents on Digital Locker. Digital Locker will reduce the use of physical documents and provide authenticity to e-documents.
Digital Locker is also a part of Digital India's first. The biggest reason for starting Digi Locker is that people can be educated digitally. Also, after the Digital Locker is fully operational in all the important institutions, there will be a reduction in paper work and online services will be increased so that people's work will be completed in all offices as soon as possible.
There are two ways to create an account in DigiLocker.
Aadhaar based method: You can sign up using your mobile number or biometric fingerprint device from your Aadhaar number (issued by UIDAI) (for this your mobile number needs to be linked to your Aadhaar number in UIDAI system)
Non Aadhaar method:
In this method, you can sign up by authenticating your mobile number and then manually uploading your identity and address proof.
