A Cebuano term that means "knowledge," Kaalam is an interactive literacy app meant to teach Cebuano learners of all ages the following:

Kaalam was developed by Smart Communications, Inc. in partnership with the local government of Argao in Cebu, Department of Education (DepEd) in Cebu City and Cebu Province, Cebu Technological University-Argao, and University of Cebu-Banilad Campus. It is aligned with DepEd's mother tongue-based multilingual education.

Some cebuano subtitles would be a nice feature on the stories. I also wish there were just more stories! A great way to get exposure; hearing and seeing pictures.. i just wish I didnt have to try so hard to ignore the english subtitles.
