SPOT is a parking guidance tool that aims to make the parking experience for drivers stress-free. Drivers just need to select their parking preference based on their mood - cheapest parking, fastest parking or nearest parking. With that information SPOT is able to recommend the best parking option with lot availability for the individual driver. No more price comparisons between car parks that required performing mental math or rushing around trying to find a car park with availability.
The cheapest parking category answers the question of where a driver should park to obtain the cheapest parking fee. The fastest parking category answers the question of where a driver should park to reach his/her destination the fastest - the solution can sometimes be to park not in the destination building itself but across the road with a short walk. The nearest parking category answers the question of where a driver should park to reach his/her destination with the least amount of walking.
