Description
2020 ICC T20 World Cup is the 8th edition of the Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the ICC. The event will be held in Australia.
The final game of the competition will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
By December 7, 25, a total of 5 teams, including 3 teams from the hosting team and full members of the ICC, will qualify for the 2020 competition.
The top 5 teams in the ranking of the top 5 teams will advance to the Super 12 level. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh did not qualify for Super 12.
The two teams will join the six teams selected from the ICC Twenty20 World Cup qualifiers. The top 5 teams from the group stage will advance to the Super 12 level.
