Description
Vigifaune is a free application that allows you to participate in the knowledge of the dangerous road sections for wildlife (and the canals, etc.).
You observe an animal victim of a collision or drowning?
With a few clicks Vigifaune allows you to record the precise location of the corpse with GPS on your smartphone (you can manually correct the location if necessary), the species, the date and the characteristics of the infrastructure (road, highway, railway, canal ...).
The data is transmitted to the Federation of Hunters participating in a college work (with other environmental associations and civic services) collection of wildlife mortalities of information caused by transport infrastructure . This information is intended to identify areas where adjustments are needed to reduce the impact of infrastructure on the movement of wildlife.
