وقال( صل الله عليه وسلم): من صلى عليّ مرة لم تبقى من ذنوبه ذرة .
وقال ( صل الله عليه وسلم): صلواتكم علي سبب لقضاء حوائجكم ورضى الله عنكم وطهارة أعمالكم.
وقال ( صل الله عليه وسلم): من صلى عليّ مرة لم يكتب ملكاه ذنوباً ثلاثة أيام.
وقال ( صل الله عليه وسلم): من صلى عليّ كل يوم ثلاث مرات محبةً بي غفر الله ذنوبه.
وقال ( صل الله عليه وسلم): في يوم القيامة عند الميزان الاعمال من ثقلت سيئاته على حسناته اضع صلواته عليّ على حسناته حتى تثقل كفة الحسنات، ومن يصلي عليّ كثيراً يأمن من سكرات الموت.
وقال ( صل الله عليه وسلم): من صلى عليَّ جهراً أُبعد عن نار النفاق. وعن أميـر المؤمنين (علي رضي الله عنه) قال الصلاة على محمد في محو الذنوب اشد من الماء على النار والسلام عليه افضل من عتق رقبة في سبيل الله او الجهاد.

He (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: Whoever prays on a time does not have any of his sins left.

He said (peace be upon him): On the Day of Judgment on the scales of the work of the weight of his bad deeds on his merits I put his prayers on me on his merits so as to weigh the scales of good deeds, and whoever prays on me so much is safe from the scorn of death.
He (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: Whoever prays on me openly is far from the fire of hypocrisy. On the authority of the Commander of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "Praying for Muhammad in wiping out sins is more severe than water on fire, and peace upon him is better than relieving a neck for the sake of Allah or jihad.
