Mahabharat

Mahabharat is one of the best important parts of Indian mythology. The Mahabharat is epic narrative of the kurukshetra war and fates between of kuravas and Pandvas. Traditiinally the author of mahabharat is attributed to vyasa and generally its based on shree Krishna.
The Mahabharat itself ends with the death of Krishna, and the subsequent end of his dynasty and ascent of the Pandava brothers to heaven.
Mahabharata is one of the longest works of its kind in the world. This epic contains about 110,000 couplets in eighteen sections. These eighteen sections deal with a number of topics. These topics cover a number of aspects of Hinduism, Hindu mythology, ethics, and the Hindu way of life. The Bhagavadgita, a dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna, is also an part of the Mahabharata.
The principal works and stories in the Mahabharata are the Bhagavad Gita.
Bhagavad Gita is knowledge of five basic truths and the relationship of each truth to the other: These five truths are Krishna, or God, the individual soul, the material world, action in this world, and time. The Gita lucidly explains the nature of consciousness, the self, and the universe. It is the essence of India's spiritual wisdom.
Bhagavad Gita, is a part of the 5th Veda (written by Vedavyasa - ancient Indian saint) and Indian Epic - Mahabharata. It was narrated for the first time in the battle of Kurukshetra, by Lord Krishna to Arjun.
