La Trinidad MDRRMC Esaganak

"La Trinidad MDRRMC Esaganak" is a comprehensive disaster prevention application provided by La Trinidad MDRRMO.
"Esganak" means "I'm going to prepare."
【Overview】
①Disaster Prevention Map
The map shows evacuation shelters in La Trinidad. The user can search the nearest evacuation shelter by using GPS. The map can also provide directions to any evacuation shelters from the location of the users.
②Link to the La Trinidad MDRRMO Website
The app is linked to the La Trinidad MDRRMO website, where the user can access landslide hazard and flood hazard maps of La Trinidad. The website is also connected to the La Trinidad MDRRMC Facebook page, where the user can access the latest information.
③Go Bag Checklist
A "Go Bag" is a bag for emergency preparedness. It is packed in advance, and used to evacuate promptly during an emergency. The app has a checklist of things that should be packed in the Go Bag, and includes a percentage bar to track completion of the checklists.
④List of Hotline Numbers
The app includes hotline numbers of La Trinidad MDRRMO and affiliated organizations. The user can check these numbers offline, which may be helpful if the user is out of data but in a communication service area.
⑤Download Documents
The app offers the option to download documents found in the app, such as the hazard maps, family preparedness guide, etc. Documents can be printed and kept at home.
⑥Safety Confirmation
The user can send his or her evacuated location, safety status, and a message to La Trinidad MDRRMO during an emergency. In order to save time during this process, the user can pre-register his or her personal information in the app, in advance of an emergency. The information is handled according to La Trinidad MDRRMO privacy policy.

・This application uses the GPS in the disaster prevention map function, after the user gives permission and turns on the GPS. The user's current location will be used to perform the service. However, the MDRRMO does not collect or use that information.
・Downloading and use of the app are free, but some functions require data communications that use load. Charge is depending on the contract between users and telecom companies.
