VMS Vending Machine Simulator

VMS is a vending machine touch system simulator that provides two main functions from two points of view; the default public one Customer and Matinatier the private one.
System functions:
- Acceptance/rejection and cumulative totaling of money input by the customer.
- Dispensation of the selected drinks to the customer.
- Indication if selected brands are unavailable.
- Dispensation of change to customers.
- Display of requested information to the vending machine maintainer.
- Injection of new drink price to the vending machine by the maintainer.
- Transfer of cash held within the machine to the maintainer.
- Simulation of the customer/maintainer interface and the interface with the vending machine machinery.
Notes:
The development of this app is published by the conference paper entitled "Designing Touch Screen Vending Machine Control System (VMCS) Simulator" in the 2nd Advanced Research in Electronic Engineering and Information Technology International Conference (AVAREIT'2018) in Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur. The study is a collaboration with the Research University Grant – PAS (Vot Number Q.K130000.2738.02K74), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE), it has been done under by the group from the Master in Software Engineering course, UTM AIS (Advanced Informatics School):
