Operativo ad Anzio dal 1979, Hawaiian Surfing è stato sicuramente uno dei primissimi windsurf shop ad aprire in Italia ed è tuttora uno dei surf shop con maggiore disponibilità ed esposizione di prodotti di tutta italia.
I due titolari, Lucio Consoli ed Enrico Faggioli, già gestivano in precedenza una scuola di windsurf come istruttori qualificati A.I.W.O.C. ed il punto vendita è nato proprio per venire incontro alle esigenze degli allievi della scuola.Questa “anzianità” di servizio, spiega già da sola l’esperienza accumulata, ed è il miglior biglietto da visita del negozio.
Anche a distanza di ormai 30 anni l’attività di Hawaiian Surfing ruota principalmente intorno al windsurf, al surf,al kitesurf ed a tutto il contorno di attrezzature, accessori, ricambi ed abbigliamento legato a questo mondo, non trascurandone le evoluzioni e le varie ramificazioni dal wave allo slalom,dal freestyle all’attualissime tendenza dei SUP.
Lucio ed Enrico, naturalmente, ancora oggi continuano ad essere appassionati praticanti e tester dei prodotti venduti, anche se da parecchi anni hanno lasciato il mondo delle regate. La famiglia di Hawaiian Surfing si è sempre avvalsa, anche nel passato, della preziosa collaborazione di personaggi come Fabio Balini, Andrea Rosati atleti fra i più quotati in campo internazionale, di numerosi tester e promoter ( troppo numerosi da nominare senza correre il rischio di dimenticarne qualcuno ), la cui continua e preziosa opera di consulenza e prova dei materiali in acqua è nostro fiore all’occhiello.
