Simpósio Nordestino de Etnobiologia e Etnoecologia

A finalidade do X SNEE é criar oportunidades para o debate, troca de experiências e a
articulação entre os conhecimentos das populações locais e os conhecimentos produzidos em instituições formais de ensino e pesquisa. Em especial, buscar-se-á:
- Fortalecer e divulgar as etnociências na região entre estudantes, pesquisadores e agências financiadoras;
- Aproximar pesquisadores e as comunidades envolvidas diretamente com os trabalhos em etnociências, promovendo discussões pertinentes às questões ligadas ao conhecimento local e aos seus direitos, sustentabilidade ambiental e manutenção da cultura tradicional;
- Promover discussões perante algumas temáticas relacionadas com os direitos das populações locais, ética, políticas públicas e desenvolvimento científico.
- Divulgar as pesquisas realizadas em Etnobiologia e Etnoecologia entre discentes e
pesquisadores da região Nordeste,
- Promover a criação de parcerias estratégicas e grupos de pesquisas;
- Fortalecer a produção científica em Etnobiologia na região Nordeste;
- Despertar o interesse de jovens estudantes de graduação em participarem de pesquisas etnobiológicas em âmbito local ou em outras partes do Nordeste brasileiro.
The purpose of X SNEE is to create opportunities for discussion, exchange of experiences and
articulation between the knowledge of the local populations and the knowledge produced in formal institutions of teaching and research. In particular, the following shall be sought:
- Strengthen and disseminate ethnosciences in the region among students, researchers and funding agencies;
- To bring researchers and communities directly involved in ethnoscience work, promoting discussions relevant to issues related to local knowledge and their rights, environmental sustainability and maintenance of traditional culture;
- Promote discussions on some issues related to the rights of local populations, ethics, public policies and scientific development.
- Disseminate the research carried out in Ethnobiology and Ethnoecology among
researchers from the Northeast,
- Promote the creation of strategic partnerships and research groups;
- Strengthen scientific production in Ethnobiology in the Northeast;
- To awaken the interest of young undergraduate students in participating in ethnobiological researches at a local level or in other parts of the Brazilian Northeast.
