This metroZapp concerned with the recent urban development at the Moritz Platz in Berlin-Kreuzberg in a moment of great historical dynamics. At the beginning of the 20th century still a bustling urban center, the place with the division of Berlin after the Second World War was sidelined. he became a hot spot of the new city development through the strategic growth of various actors in the field of creative industry from 2009 onwards.
We call it "Zapp"
We have some of the protagonists on the spot, but also residents who had previously been there, critically questioned how the new companies and initiatives work, how they are related and what prospects could open up for a city development after the model Moritzplatz. Short video and audio clips with eight interlocutor / inside are sorted by theme. This sometimes quite different voices may fall by way heart Appen and are set against each other. We also tell in five chapters the story of Moritz Square.
