If you want this remote to work you need VLC 2.0.0 anything higher won't work due to simplified web interface on later version. I bought this app to support the devs and I hope they can some how fix this app to work with the latest VLC.

See my review on the main app. Doesn't work. Not updated since 2013. Don't waste your money on this abandoned app.
