I set it to ENGLISH, some question asks definitions in French, Latin, etc

Not a crossword at all. Letters combine without making words and the controls keep going to the wrong direction Deleting it. When I try to answer an across clue the app places my answer in the down and vice versa. Also, In a normal crossword all letter combinations make some word and have a corresponding clue. These 2 and 3 letter combinations will often supple a missing letter that lets me solve the clue. In your puzzle they have no meaning at all. I recognize that you are constrained by size, however, if you cannot create an actual crossword app, at least don't call it a crossword.
