Shape of Block Jewel TilesDo note that the block jewel tiles appear in different shape and sizes in this game. They can come in the form of an upside-down T, a single square, a 2 by 2 square, a 3 by 3 square, a horizontal line, and a vertical line. None of these shapes can be rotated, so they must be placed on the tile as it is. Try to keep track of the pieces that you used and also the pieces to come.
Outside to Inside
When placing abstract block jewel tiles, be sure to start placing them nearer to the sides before working your way in. This will allow you to have sufficient space for any of the tiles to come. Try to use the single tiles to fill in the spaces of those oddly shaped block jewels. This can help to clear the blocks when the row is filled and also make way for more tiles to come, especially when you have consecutive large pieces to place.
