Der Bund Deutscher Baumeister, Architekten und Ingenieure e. V. (BDB) ist ein Berufsverband. Er vertritt bundesweit rund 9000 Mitglieder.
Über das Netzwerk erhalten die Mitglieder News zur Berufspolitik und zu Veranstaltungen, können Dokumente abrufen, sich über aktuelle Entwicklungen austauschen und untereinander vernetzen. Außerdem werden über das Netzwerk Teile der Verbandsarbeit organisiert.
Im BDB sind freischaffend, angestellt oder auch gewerblich zum Beispiel in der Bauausführung tätige Berufsträger sowie Studierende organisiert. Er gliedert sich in 15 Landesverbände und rund 120 Bezirksgruppen.
Die integrale Planung sowie die Förderung des Gedankens des Bauteams und ein damit verbundenes, gezieltes und verantwortungsbewusstes Zusammenwirken von Architekten, Bauingenieuren und Unternehmern bei der Planung, Vorbereitung und Ausführung von Bauaufgaben gehört zu den Zielen des BDB. Weitere Ziele sind die Erhaltung und Steigerung der Qualität des Bauens in allen Bereichen, die Förderung der Baukultur sowie das nachhaltige Bauen im Bewusstsein der Verantwortung der Berufsträger für den Erhalt der natürlichen Lebensgrundlagen und denm Klimaschutz. Der BDB bündelt den Sachverstand der Planenden und vertritt deren Interessen in allen relevanten berufs-, bildungs- und gesellschaftspolitischen Bereichen gegenüber Politik, Verwaltung und in der Zivilgesellschaft. Seine Aufgabe ist ferner die bestmögliche Förderung der Aus- und Weiterbildung seiner Mitglieder
