P-touch Design&Print is a free application for use with Brother P-touch Label Makers and P-touch Ribbon and Decorative Tape Printers that have Bluetooth® technology. Design labels on your Android™ smartphone or tablet and print them using the Brother P-touch CUBE (PT300BT) or P-touch CUBE Plus (PTP710BT) label makers. To design and print on satin ribbons, decorative tapes and washi tapes, use the P-touch Embellish ELITE (PTP715eBT) ribbon and tape printer.

  If I want to print a number of similar labels (for kitchen canisters, for example) it would be really nice if I could set a font and font size and have the software determine the appropriate label length based on the text. Right now it seems the only options are to set a fixed length for all of your labels and let the software modify the font size for each label or to manually modify the label size for each label in order to keep the same font size. Otherwise, a really nice app.

  Tried the second version of the software first, and that didn't work at all. This one does, so big improvement. The hardware is ok. I don't like that so much label is wasted when printing, as there's space between the printer and cutter. The labels are forgiving, not producing bubbles. The ink doesn't run, and doesn't smudge. The software is ok, with some nice design variations. I'm surprised how pixelated the actual prints are. Bit they're legible and look good from a distance.

  Mostly good some bugs it's annoying that it prints a blank before it prints a batch of labels. Is there a way to fix that?

  App crashes every time you try to add a monochrome (b&w) image to the label to print a symbol that the app itself doesn't have. Resolution, file format, nothing seems to matter. It just crashes. Take a photo of the image, so that its quality stinks and the app accepts it and prints it out. Garbled and awful as it is. So it seems to be designed to print only crappy images. Thanks a lot for wasting my time.

  It is a very good label making tool. It is nice to be able to easily make labels using the app from my mobile. It works great for me and when I print more than 1 label it doesn't waist tape.
