Focus of the app: To contribute to the climate change movement through our efforts as individuals.
We all can help in two ways:
1) By reducing our 'Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions' to a concrete individual monthly target.
2) By spreading the word so that we can achieve a global target. A 'Global Meter' in the app displays GHG savings of all app users with a target for the global community.
Features:
* Record savings of GHG emissions under four categories: Travel, Home/Office, Materials and Social Responsibility.
* Watch the 'Global Meter' for total savings by app users all over the world.
* Save to a concrete monthly target.
* Initial target based on per capita GHG emissions of user's country.
* Change the target if required: A carbon footprint calculator can be used to make a rough estimate of one's GHG emissions. This can help in setting a realistic target.
