Here is how Credo works:
After you download the app and sign in, you’ll get a trust score (also called Credo Score). You can get a good score by verifying your identity and having a few friends vouch for you. But the biggest part of your Credo Score is the feedback you receive from people you deal with. So, it will take time for you to build up your reputation on Credo and get an “excellent” score.
You can share your score with others to convince them that you are a credible and trustworthy person, and you should ask them to deal with you through Credo. This will make your transactions on sites like Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace etc. safer and more efficient.
Using Credo will also help you protect your privacy. We believe that your data belongs to you. On Credo, you have full control over what data to share with strangers and when. There is no public directory of people on Credo, your reviews are completely private, and we don’t share your data with anyone or analyze it to serve you ads.
