Description of ICW

The Islamic Center of Wheaton (ICW) is a center that serves a diverse community, united by faith and a vision to make Wheaton and the surrounding neighborhoods a better place for everyone. The Center is intended to serve more than just a mosque. It is a community center, a safe haven for children and families, and a source of spiritual guidance and direction for its patrons offered through various programs. ICW is committed to preserving an Islamic identity, building and supporting a viable Muslim community, promoting a comprehensive Islamic way of life based on the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), inculcating true Islamic values in the members in order to contribute positively to building a healthy, safe and moral society at large, and introducing Islam to others
