Abraham (Hebrew: אַבְרָהָם, Standard Tiberias'Aḇrāhām Avraham Ashkenazi Avrohom or Avruhom; Arabic: ابراهيم Ibrahim; Ge'ez: አብርሃም,'Abrəham) is an important figure in the Bible and the Koran. Judaism and Christianity recognize him as patriarch, while in the Islamic tradition it is known as Ibrahim. In the Abrahamic religious tradition, Abraham is the spiritual father of many people.
According to the Bible, Abraham was called by God from Mesopotamia to negeri Kanaan, around 2000 BC. [10] There he entered into an agreement: Abraham diminta acknowledge that Yahweh is God and supreme authority of the sole and universal, and to the descendants of Abraham will be blessed with innumerable.
