  App is functional, service, experience and communication is awful. Very deceptive practices that force you to spend additional money to spend your existing credits. Additionally the restaurants will only start making your food once you've arrived - negating any reason for using the app in the first place. If you're considering MealPal - look elsewhere.

  The app has a lot of usability issues which makes vastly sup-par compared to the product the company is offering. I cannot find which locations will have offerings until after 5pm the day before. I can't even get a listing of locations. I have to force quit the app and reopen it inorder for updates to show up. No way to tell ahead of time if I will run out of meals before or after my month is over. I don't get any push notifications. There is no option to pre-order from a location prior to 5.

  Super sketchy because there is no straightforward way to cancel once you signup. That's a huge flag for me, and I advise against using this service.

  To those checking out reviews before subscribing, MealPal is struggling like every other company during the pandemic, but their service response has been easily the worst. They seem to be set on squeezing every penny out of subscribers while also making it as hard as possible to hold/cancel/use the service. Steer clear for a while.

  Customer service has been good but they are very reluctant to cancel the account during the circuit breaker period. Choices are limited outside of work place so I cannot really use my credits but they still keep on deducting. Giving them two star for effort, three star for apps.
