Description of MeteoSwiss

The MeteoSwiss App from the national weather provider. With weather forecasts, current measurements, a blog about weather and climate and natural hazard warnings. Including individualizable live tiles and zoomable maps. Save your favourit places in Switzerland and get the corresponding weather details and subscribe to the warning threshold and types of natural hazard warnings sent as push notifications.

  The app is good, but the forecast is not. In Basel, at times, you can see it will rain. You can smell it. The app shows: No rain whatsoever the whole night. 15min later: Pouring rain. App then updates: Oh hey, it will rain for 3h more. How does this happen?! Also sometimes it glitches (1h data is missing in cloud forecast) and the online feedback form is broken (*fill out field with star, always lit up, no possible way to submit the form). It's promising, but very, very much disappointing.

  Cannot select language, everything with English titles and German text, even when I actually want French. (phone language English). Even your screenshots show this...

  Great app overall except for one thing: menus are all in English (language selected on my smartphone) but forecast in German. Give us the option to choose the language.
